David has broad experience in intellectual property law and contract law.  David’s intellectual property experience includes his present position serving as in-house counsel for UnitedHealth Group.   David formerly worked as an associate for two large international law firms in the patent prosecution group.

David also has experience handling civil litigation for breach of contract claims and landlord/tenant disputes.

David began his professional career with over 13 years of experience in software development, including 5 years experience in software quality assurance and testing and 8 years as a Java and Business Intelligence developer.  While working full-time as a software developer, David attended Georgia State University College of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and served as Assistant Student Writing Editor for the Georgia State University Law Review.  David is admitted to practice law in Georgia and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
